What is a 'significant' incident? Examples of these are:
- An injury to a player which requires more then immediate first aid. So common everyday footballing scrapes do not need to be recorded. However, anything that may require professional treatment (ambulance called, sent to A&E etc.) should always be recorded, even if the injured person declines the advice.
- An incident that involves an assault on a player, spectator or match official, whether or not the police are involved.
An event that poses a threat, real or perceived, to an individuals well-being or to the clubs reputation.
